Business EV Charging

Choose the right Business EV Charging Solution

Business EV charging refers to EV charging infrastructure installed at commercial or semi-public locations rather than private homes.

Installing EV charging at a business is more than choosing a charger and putting it in a parking space.

The right solution depends on your business type, parking time, number of EVs, available electrical capacity, charging speed, budget, and future expansion plans. Whether you operate a hotel, office, apartment building, retail store, fleet, dealership, or public parking facility, the goal is the same: Provide convenient EV charging without overcomplicating installation, operation, or future growth.

Our business EV charging solutions combine AC and DC charging options to help businesses build a charging system that fits their real-world needs.

GREENC AC charging solutions include wall-mounted and floor-mounted charging stations for different commercial environments  Our DC charging solutions include single-gun and dual-gun charging stations, with power outputs ranging from 20 kW to 240 kW or higher. For access and payment, RFID and OCPP-enabled charging management systems are commonly used, depending on the application and platform.

OCPP

With OCPP support, our EV chargers can connect to compatible third-party charging management platforms. This gives businesses greater flexibility to manage charging stations, users, charging sessions, energy usage, pricing, and payment from a centralized system.

RFID card

Combined with GREENC smart charging system, which includes a flexible prepaid card system with four payment methods available, easy for ower to manage the EV charging business.

FAQs

There is no single best charger for every business. AC chargers are often suitable for locations where vehicles remain parked for several hours, while DC chargers are more appropriate where faster charging and higher vehicle turnover are required.

It depends on the application. AC charging generally offers a lower equipment and installation cost and works well for long-stay parking. DC charging provides faster charging and can be more suitable for public, fleet, and high-turnover locations.

The number depends on parking demand, EV adoption, average parking time, daily energy requirements, and available electrical capacity. It is often better to design around actual charging demand rather than install one charger for every parking space.

Not necessarily.  We are supplying 1-phase and 3-phase EV chargers.  while higher-power AC 11kW, 22kW with Type2, or GB/T and many commercial DC charging systems may require three-phase power. The required electrical configuration depends on the charger and site.

Yes. Depending on the location and business model, charging can be offered as a paid service. However, businesses can also benefit indirectly through customer attraction, employee benefits, increased dwell time, fleet efficiency, and property value.

Sometimes. A combination can be useful when a site serves different users. For example, AC chargers can serve long-stay customers or employees, while a DC charger can provide faster charging for customers who are in a hurry.

At minimum, evaluate the electrical capacity, voltage and phase, parking layout, cable distance, expected charging demand, vehicle types, installation conditions, charging management requirements, and future expansion plans.

Yes. A scalable charging design can allow a business to start with a smaller number of charging points and expand as EV adoption increases.

For businesses that want to start an EV charging service without relying on an OCPP-based network, our smart charging management system provides a simple and flexible way to manage AC charging stations.

The system allows owners to monitor charging stations, manage users, set charging rates, and configure payment methods according to their business model. Whether paid by the hour, times or billed based on energy consumption, owners can easily configure the settings to suit their needs.
